Hollywood is likely the most 'Tarantino' movie ever created. It's a much better movie than Once Upon A. Unlike Tarantino's other films, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is not about anger or revenge, but this underlying affection.
This time it's really not about the references he strews about again, or the big names that come and go in cameos (TV star Luke Perry, who died shortly after filming this movie. The movie star and his stuntman shadow live in the same world, but have vastly different stations in life. Or at least replace the minutiae with additional dialogue for Margot Robbie. Sharon Tate needed to be more compelling.
