Titan is not "the only other place in the solar system with an atmosphere." Mars and Venus have atmospheres, as User Reviews. The movie was okay but predictable. Does every single astronaut movie have to have a scene with astronauts and their families grilling burgers?
This movie about a military family's role in a genetic experiment mostly falls flat. Rick is the supposed subject of The Titan, but his story is seen mostly through the skeptical view of his doctor wife, Abigail. The Titan movie story it is that the world is collapsing due to lack of resources due to wars, chemical problems and related stuff.
This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie SUCKS and is WEIRD. The idea is earth is dying so they want to force evolution so they can live on Titan and. Netflix's new sci-fi movie is a confused, sleepy knockoff The Fly. but it's still kinda watchable? Whether he's leading a team of Na'vi warriors across the battlefield in Avatar or fighting off the freshly unleashed Kraken in Clash of the Titans, he's completely nonplussed. The movie never quite hit "satisfying" for me.

There were a number of threads that seemed to develop, but ultimately fell flat. For me this felt like a case of, "you get what's on the box". I just watched The Titan and this is a very spot on review.
This straight-to-Netflix creature feature boasts the intellectual curiosity of "Annihilation," but precious little of that movie's resolve. The screenplay was written by Max Hurwitz, with the story by Arash Amel. Imagining The Titan with a lead other than Worthington conjures up only a marginally more compelling film. Victories over racism and victories over opposing teams alternate so quickly that sometimes we're not sure if we're cheering for tolerance or touchdowns.
