He prefers to perch high above a water-filled stone quarry on the sprawling property before plunging into the water. Or he wanders into the woods while a sullen elderly male servant performs his duties nearby. Voice from the Stone strands some solid performances in a would-be thriller distinctly devoid of spine-tingling moments.

POLL. "Voice from the Stone" is a mystery/drama with a gorgeous gothic atmosphere and a little touch of horror. Emilia Clarke is excellent as the main character This castle in Tuscany used for the filming is a dream scenery and they know how to take advantage from it. Normally I would be upset if a movie. Not everyone will get the full plot in the end so only those who got intrigued by the movie will search for an answer. What I remember most is the cat in the walls and the caretaker. Movie Review ½.
