My Days of Mercy has an undeniably intriguing premise, but does not have any strong ideas about how to bring it to life. The meet-cute (AKA when two characters first start a romance) that kicks off "My Days of Mercy" has to rank as one of the oddest ever put before a movie camera—it may not be. Though My Days of Mercy's knotty romance drifts into melodrama, it's grounded by Ellen Page and Kate Mara's exceptional chemistry.

The acting here is top notch as Kate Mara balances the two sides of Mercy, and Ellen Page flashes her familiar Review this title Q: Is this movie ever going to be released on DVD. The film deals with protesting against capital punishment and a lesbian affair.
